Overview

Jitmuangnon Gym is a long-established Muay Thai training camp based in Nonthaburi, on the edge of the Bangkok metropolitan area. The gym is widely recognised within Thailand for producing elite-level fighters who compete at the highest tiers of professional Muay Thai, with athletes carrying the Jitmuangnon name across multiple weight classes and major promotions.

Operating within the traditional Thai fight camp model, Jitmuangnon is focused primarily on high-level fighter development and competition preparation rather than recreational training.

Lineage & Identity

Jitmuangnon Gym was established in the early 2000s by promoter Somdjit Waenkaew in partnership with Uan Muangnon, from whom the gym takes its name. Over more than two decades, it has become a major fixture within the Bangkok and Nonthaburi Muay Thai circuit, with close ties to Or Tor Kor (Jitmuangnon) Stadium.

Coaching & Notable Fighters

Jitmuangnon Gym is strongly identified with a roster of elite competitors, including Rodtang Jitmuangnon, Panpayak Jitmuangnon, Yodpanomrung Jitmuangnon, Sakaengam Jitmuangnon, and Kiewpayak Jitmuangnon. Fighters from the gym regularly appear on major stadium cards and international promotions, including ONE Championship.

Training Style & Competition

Training follows a traditional Thai fight camp structure, with daily sessions centred on pad work, bag work, clinch training, endurance, and conditioning. The gym’s training routines are designed specifically to prepare fighters for sustained professional competition rather than short-term fitness goals.

Training Demographic & Accommodation

Jitmuangnon Gym primarily trains full-time and competition-focused fighters, while also accommodating experienced international trainees seeking immersion in a traditional Thai camp environment. Dedicated onsite accommodation is not prominently advertised, though trainees are typically assisted with nearby housing arrangements in the Nonthaburi area.
