Marek Dobrakowski is one of a growing number of Irish fighters developing their careers through a combination of domestic competition and regular bouts in Thailand. Representing Waterford Muay Thai, the 70 kg prospect has continued to build experience against a variety of opponents, with recent performances demonstrating steady progression early in his professional career.

Career Progress

Dobrakowski made a successful start to his professional career with a victory over Joe Norris before later suffering a defeat in a B-Class contest in the UK.

He returned with one of the standout victories of his career to date, stopping WMO ranked Leon Lisboa by third-round knockout.

Dobrakowski later represented Ireland at the IFMA Senior World Championships, where his tournament ended prematurely following a shoulder injury. Although the result was disappointing, competing at world championship level provided valuable international experience.

Following his recovery, Dobrakowski travelled to Thailand and is currently training at Bang Tao Muay Thai and MMA in Phuket. Since arriving, he has recorded a TKO victory via leg-kick stoppage, continuing his development against international opposition.
