Niall McGreevy Returns to RWS for His Toughest Test Yet

Irish standout Niall McGreevy returns to Rajadamnern World Series on Saturday, May 23, when he takes on the highly decorated Choojaroen Dabransarakarm at Rajadamnern Stadium.

Choojaroen is one of Thailand’s most accomplished technicians. The 32-year-old is a former Lumpinee Stadium 135 lb champion, former Channel 7 Stadium 140 lb champion, and 2018 Top King World Series tournament winner. He was also ranked as high as No. 4 in the WBC Muay Thai welterweight rankings.

Over the course of a distinguished career, Choojaroen has shared the ring with some of the biggest names in Muay Thai, including Tawanchai PK Saenchai, Sangmanee Sor Tienpo, Phetmorakot Petchyindee Academy, and Capitan Petchyindee Academy. He has competed at every major stadium in Thailand, including Lumpinee, Rajadamnern, Channel 7, and Omnoi.

McGreevy enters the bout in outstanding form. He made a statement in his RWS debut in July 2025, stopping Peemai Por Kobkuea by first-round knockout in an action-packed contest. He followed that up with a composed decision victory over Erdem Dincer at RWS 179 in January 2026, proving he can handle both chaos and high-level technical opposition.
